So I have a secondary computer that i use for light gaming, and i needed a set or speakers to go with it, i fished out an old eMachines SP-20A set of speakers and plugged them into the motherboards yellow audio jack. The audio is fine, but its extremely quiet. Turned up to max volume, you cant hear the sound from about 20 feet away, but if i take the speakers and plug them into my iPhone 4S, the sound on max volume can easily be heard throughout most of my home. What can i do to fix it? is it something wrong with the motherboard? Thanks for any help

I tried the green and blue jacks and the front headphone jack and the computer doesnt detect the speakers. I got the computer for free from someone who had a bunch of old gaming computers, and theres a sticker by the audio jacks that says "yellow jack for audio" do you think the motherboard could have been damaged somehow?
