Old, Extra Computer

Hey guys, so I have a nice gaming pc, but my dad just found me an old PC that works decently, but is not very powerful. Its an HP Compaq dc5000 MT. Its got 2gb of ram and an intrel pentium 4 CPU. I was just wondering what to do with it, suggestions would be helpful. I dont really know what to use it for, whether to take it upart or run some kind of server (no idea how to). Thanks!

thats about the same age as my old build (which is an amd64... back when amd was the more powerful cpu)

honestly there isnt too much that you can do with it.... except perhaps use it as a file server of some sort. or you could use it as a firewall for connecting to the internet. or you could use it as a media streaming device for the house.

its quite old and not very powerfull though... so unless you have a dire need for any of those options... i dont think there is much use.
