Old games with blurry/watery/fuzzy textures

Many of my old games are looking like this. Patrician 3 also does this and I've tried many things, setting to run as admin, many different resolutions, different compatibilities, uninstall/reinstall, etc. Any help? Thanks in advance!

Solved it on my own! Funny how I looked for solutions for a week, post here, solve it within 15 minutes!

Do you want to explain how you fixed it incase some one else is having similar issues?

The solution for me was to shut off morphological filtering in the Catalyst control center for AMD cards. For some reason that did it! I've now also read that that helped others.

MMmm looks like they are incompatible with the graphics drivers? I am assuming NO OTHER programs have this issue correct (modern games, websites, opening a Word document and zooming in, etc.)? Have you tried to update the graphics driver?

Only other things I would look up the maker and see if A) still in business B) have any support for the game (most remove support when they are too old) C) Download any patches / fixes by googling the game name and the word PATCH.

If those don't work, there is only two alternatives left; 1) Setup a Virtual Sandbox and install the OS into the Sandbox the games are made for (say Vista or XP) if you have Legitamite owned OS copies for them, then install the games into the Virtual Sandbox and see if they play correctly then. 2) Toss the games like everyone else has.

Now I am aware Steam and Good Old Games (GOG.com) have many OLD titles reengineered to work on modern platform systems, you may need to repurchase the titles through them would be the hail mary attempt if your adamant in playing them.
