Old Games with Xbox one controller

I want to play old games on windows 10 with xbox one controller , the problem is that the triggers are not working. What should I do?

What games? If they don't have controller support you will have to emulate keyboard and mouse on your controller using something like xpadder. I have tried this before, didn't like it never felt right to me.

Yeah, older games that dont support xinput wont let you use the triggers as they are recognised as Z axes by the OS and the games need digital buttons. Xpadder used to be a free tool with excellent features to change the trigger behavior. I used it very much during the late 2000s when the controller support was not great in games. Keyboard emulation doesn't feel "right" like the above poster said, but your mileage may vary. Give it a try.
