About two months ago my ASUS GTX 1070 kicked the bucket on me so I waited till Christmas and got a EVGA 1070ti that was on sale. The card came in today so I installed it and installed the drivers and started playing Destiny 2. After about 35 minuets the game froze and crashed, didn't think anything of it and opened the game again. Another 30 minutes went by then my computer froze and had a loud, annoying buzzing sound coming out of my headphones. It only seems to occur while I'm gaming. This is the same thing my old card did before it died. What could be the problem?

Solution
Failing power supply would be my guess. I'd reinstall windows first just to eliminate possible software conflicts. Then if issue is still happening then I'd start replacing parts

Ok thanks! I’ll try doing that
