Background:
I need to use a feature in Photoshop called Oil Paint.
I have been using this feature for a year and suddenly it has stopped working.
The card I am using is integrated (Intel 4600) is not compatible with Photoshop, but I have been using this card for a while and it's been working fine.
I have checked "Use Graphics Processor to Accelerate Computation" but OpenCL is greyed out.
The graphics driver is very old and not updateable. It's a Dell computer with no separate dGPU.
So to get to my question:
I'm willing to spring for a new card, but is there anything else I need to know
Will this OpenCL thing still be a problem? I have already installed some OpenCL Compatibility utility but it did nothing.
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz
RAM: 32GB
Windows 10 22H2
Make: Dell
