Hello, I have major issue concerning my old HDD. I recently purchased a transfer kit to connect my old HDD into my new PC to transfer some very important files of mine under documents such as college word documents and important pictures etc. Everything is being identified in my new pc and it has the OS driver (G: ) with like NVIDIA, program files, Riot games etc. but other stuff pops up too separately, like a RECOVERY file (F: ), DATA file (D: ) and i was wondering if any of those have a reason for my documents file not showing up ? idk whatim saying tbh lol but i just need access to my documents folder as it has everything on it

Hey there, MurkasiN.

If you have access to your OS partition, you should be able to navigate to your User Folder and from there access Documents (My Documents) and the rest of the folders. Is this the directory you've stored your files to? What's your OS? For Win 7, the path should be: C:\Users\name\Documents (where name is the name of the user you've used).

The other letters are for different partitions you have on your drive.

Hope that helps.
