Old heatsink=new heatsink?

hello, im thinking about upgrading my amd athlon ii x2 250 to a fx-4300 and i was wondering if i could use my 250's heatsink for the fx-4300, i checked and they look like they are pretty much the same size. would it cause any problems?

your fx4300 is the boxed one or only the cpu you could get a evo 212 if it fit in your case and keep the oem cooler if you decide to sell the old cpu .
