[SOLVED] Old HP oa60h

I have an old HP desktop with the oa60h motherboard and e6300 Intel processor. I know it's way old and outdated, but what is the fastest intel processor I could put in this. From what I can find online it looks like an e6700 is it. does anyone kow of anything faster? BTW it's only used for legacy games and software programs not able to run on new computers.

I would agree that is the fastest processor likely to work given it is an HP board. If it were a retail board, it might support some of the quads.

Then again, wouldn't hurt much to order a few CPUs just to see. I imagine Q6600 aren't all that expensive these days.
