Hi guys. I would like to upgrade my PC in the near future and would love some advices.

My current PC :
CPU : i5 3350p
MOBO : ASROCK H61M-VG3
RAM : 8gb single channel 1333 MHz
GPU : RX 470 8GB, but it died today. :(
PSU : MY8705 500W.

My questions are : Do you think this PC is worth keeping for some time? If not
Should I upgrade to a Ryzen 5 1600AF? Or should I push for a Ryzen 5 3600?

The 1600 has gone up $40 or more over the past few weeks so it's no longer worth it to me. Here's the go to combination that i sell at my shop for gaming on a budget:
Ryzen 3600 = $174 @ newegg.
Msi Tomahawk Max mobo = $115 @ newegg.
16 gigs of DDR4 3600 = $75 @ newegg.
1660 gtx ti = $275 @ newegg
650 to 750 gold rated power supply.

the question is "does the pc still do what you want/need it to do?"

if yes, then stick with what you have for now.

if not, then what does it not do that you want/need it to do? that's where any upgrade discussion needs to start. especially right now considering that prices are a bit high due to covid supply problems world wide

I am gaming, mainly. Just want to play whatever whenever, 60+ 1080p (aiming for 144hz also) . I am afraid the i5 is not up to it anymore. Plus, I just hate it. Slow HDD, horrible PSU, ddr3 ram. For some reason my GPU fried today (it could be the PSU maybe). Kind of want to get rid of it.

what we can do is offer some suggestions. but we'll need a budget in your currency and an online shop or 2 to pick from. then i'm sure you'll get plenty of ideas on what you can get at this time :)

does no one any good to offer stuff from stores you can't shop at with prices you can't get!!
