Old ide drive with sata adapter for system disc?

Hi i have old ide hard drive with sata adapter. the motherboard is asrock h61 pro btc.How can install windows on the drive.I try it many times but i have many errors.

What kind of errors? - - post an example of what some of the errors are.

Just saying "I have many errors" is too vague - please be specific.
