I have got myself a new pc with win10, i got a few old HDD left at my old win7 pc - used them as storage.
Trying to connect them with a USB 3 - Sata Adapter doesn't allow me to initialize the drive and I'm only able to see the drive with 0GB aviable

What would be the smartest way to approach this, i just want to use those internal HDD as storage without losing the data on them

I'll probably buy a docking station tomarrow and i'll update.

One question though, do i need to initialize it or anything,
Or just connecting it without doing anything should work without a problem with the docing station ?
One of the benefits of a docking station is that you can turn it on AFTER the system is booted up from the regular drive.

Power up the PC, then start up the old drive, then see what is on it and what you need to recover from it.
