Hey guys, I think I need some help from some of you techies out there.
TL;DR I dug an old laptop out of storage and it is unable to connect to internet.
The drivers have been updated, after that I reset some DNS server issue through command prompt, now it is able to connect to my modem via wireless, and even says it HAS internet connectivity. But when I try to go to google or anything simple it seems to connect, but when it is waiting for some sort of "reply" from google or whatever website I'm on, it says that there was an error displaying webpage (windows explorer). For whatever reason I can't seem to pull up chrome or network diagnostics, but I'll keep at it.
With a broad problem as this I simply do not know where to advance from here. Please Please Please someone give me some pointers. I'll be around.
