Hello all, I own an old Acer es1 512, which only gets occasional use, I've come to my parents place with a fully functioning laptop, but now I've come home from the pub and tried to use it, all it does is very briefly show the Acer splash screen and then shows me the grey and blue bios screen, the InsdeH20 setup utility to be precise.

What the f--k is this, why is it here, and why can't I just save and exit and boot into windows? this machine was literally flawless ever since I bought it about three years ago, all I've done is put it on charge and now it doesn't work.

Any help or advice ladies and gentlemen?

Many thanks in advance :)

It's all about the pub, and the laptop knows (just kidding).

No - the actual reason is probably the bios battery being drained out. This battery is responsible for all bios related settings doesn't reset when the computer is turned off.
