[SOLVED] Old motherboard newer cpu compatibility help

Hi all,

First time pc builder here.

So I bought a motherboard a long while ago from a friend: Asus P8P67EVO Rev.3.

I intend to build it with the following CPU which I've also got: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4 GHz Quad-Core

I've heard that I may need to flash the bios. According to this list on the 'cpu-upgrade' site the cpu requres the 3207 bios.

If I'm not mistaken (accoding to the manual E6309) my mobo is from 2011/01/18 and therefore according to users of this forum the motherboard comes with bios 0402.

Therefore my question is, if my cpu isn't supported and if none of the compatible cpus on this list [again from cpu-upgrade site] bios numbers go that low, then how can I find an old cpu compatible with this motherboard that I can obtain to flash it so that I can use the i5-3570K? Can anyone say which cpu I can buy to do this? Or point me in the right direction at least if I've gone astray.

Thanks a lot
