So today I got a new WD blue 1TB drive to replace my old drive (which was the exact same model, WD blue 1TB) since it was booting and opening programs painfully slow. I've cloned that drive over to a the new one and formatted the old one and plan to use it to store things that don't require fast loading, such as videos and documents. Now, my question is, should I keep the drives running separate as I am now, or set them up into RAID 0? Would I see any benefit from doing so?

Solution
Yep, RAID0 doubles your storage capacity AND doubles your chances of drive failure, and with one drive older than the other and exhibiting performance issues, you are just asking to lose all of your data.
