Old Nvidia Drivers Wont Uninstall

Hi. So it has been a few months since I put in my r9 280x. I upgraded to that from a GTX 650. I had installed all the new drivers but have just recently noticed that there are still old drivers installed that were for the 650. When I go into control panel and try to get rid of them, they wont uninstall. I right click and press Uninstall/ change and nothing happens, not even an error.

The drivers are as follows:

3D Vision Control Center
3D Vision Driver
HD Audio Driver
PhysX System Software

Could these extra drivers be the reason for my fps drop in Borderlands 2? Having this card I expected I could run Borderlands at 1080p with 60+ fps. I run BF4 fine on ultra but not Borderlands 2. I often get spike that put me down into the 40s and 50s when looking at certain things or certain directions. Same thing happens with Minecraft.

Hope you guys could help me out with these 2 problems, this community has always been good to me 😀

For your first problem download a piece of software called Display Driver Uninstaller (or DDU) from here: http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/

Run in safe mode as it suggests (the program will do all the work for you). This will get rid of any old drivers. I'd do this for both Nvidia and AMD drivers, then do a fresh install of your current GPU's latest drivers. Download them from the company website rather than using the disc that came with your GPU.

Hopefully this should solve both your issues.
