[SOLVED] Old Pata drive to a sata motherboard

I have an old PATA hard drive that I want to get some old photos off of, but my motherboard only has sata ports, I was wondering how I could get the data off of that hard drive. I tried looking online but could only find sata to pata which is the wrong way round, so if anyone knows any ways to get the data off the drive that would be much appreciated.

Attach it externally with an IDE to usb adapter.

Hopefully your PSU has a molex connector to power the drive. This comes with a powersplitter/adapter that you plug into the PSU. Then the Molex on that power splitter plugs into the HDD and the Floppy power connects to and powers the adapter itself.
