Hello,
My PC doesn't start when I pull the power button, starts running the Windows XP, but stops and starts again. This is happening since its hard disk (IDE) failed and had to put an adapter IDE to SATA and change to a new disk SATA 500 GB, It worked for a short time and one day when I pulled the power buton, it failed, but it fixed by connecting and disconnecting an IDE to SATA adapter cable, but not anymore.
It's an old PC (I bought in 2003) M925 mother board, micro processor Pentium 4 Celeron 1.8 Mhz classic with socket 478, with 1Gb of DDR2 RAM, (formerly had 250 Mb).The technician detected an bootable error that damaged a sector of the hard drive, but he fixed it running chkdsk and another program, and the PC worked but once and failed again. He said that perhaps the hard disk be the cause. I don't know. I appreciate any help, please. Thank you.
