The PC's spec is as follows:
Any ideas as to what I should be looking at/the most likely culprit gratefully received! I've tried removing the CMOS battery, which made no difference.
Thanks!

My parents' PC has started playing up, and I'm a bit stumped as to what's wrong with it.
When you press the power button, the following happens:
- The power LED on the case illuminates
- The case fans (front and rear) spin up
- The CPU fan twitches, and the CPU debug LED briefly blinks on-off once (<0.5s)
- The power LED on the case goes off
- The case fans stop
- Go to step 1
The PC's spec is as follows:
- Intel Core i3-4330
- ASUS Z87-A motherboard
- 8GB Corsair Vengeance LP 1600MHz DDR3 (2x4GB)
- Seasonic G-Series 450W PSU
- Crucial MX500 SSD
- Fractal Design Define R4 case
Any ideas as to what I should be looking at/the most likely culprit gratefully received! I've tried removing the CMOS battery, which made no difference.
Thanks!
P.S. I don't have any spare parts to do the obvious swap tests.
