Hi guys,

These are my current setup.
Casing - Cooler Master elite 430 black
Motherboard - Gigabyte P55-UD3L
Processor - Intel core i5-760
Graphic Card - Asus GTS450
PSU - Cooler Master 500W
RAM - Kingston 8GB 1333mhz
SSD - Kingston 120GB 300V
HDD - WD Green 1TB

I wish to upgrade it so that it's able to run latest game such as Batman Arkham Knight, GTA and so on.

Can I just upgrade the graphic card to NVidia GTX 980 Ti only and others remain?

thanks :)

You should be able to, but some older systems don't play nicely with PCIe 3.0 devices. Try updating to the newest BIOS you can first.

Just remember that the titles you mentioned can be CPU limited, so it's possible that you won't get the full performance of that video card (though certainly better than your 450!)

oh ya, it is Cooler Master 550W Extreme Power Plus

it is sufficient?

hmm.. i see, thanks

i see, but why it is a low quality PSU?

Old cooler masters are horrible, it won't even handle a 970 properly. For that system, you can however use a 960, and that should fit very well. The 980ti is totally impossible on that rig.

really !!
might as well upgrade the PSU too.
any suggestion?

If you want a PSU that you can use later for anything (and should last a decade), get yourself a Seasonic 660XP2. It will cost less to get that PSU and a 970 than a 980ti would cost, so you can afford it.

Below are my current plan, any suggestion?

RAM - Kingston HyperX Beast 2400MHz 8GB

HDD - Western Digital Blue 1TB
