[SOLVED] Old PC Upgrade

Hello, I would appreciate it if you guys could make sure that there is no compatability problems with the parts I have chosen. Thank you!

In theory your board will work with that CPU. It will already have a bios installed and you should be good to go. In theory. I was in a thread the other day where no matter what, the OP couldn't get a 3600 to work with his 450 board. (differnt board, I think it was an Asus.) His old 1600 worked just fine, but no matter which bios he tried he couldn't get two different 3600s to work. You can avoid all issues by getting a 550 or 570 board from the start. What you picked should work, and does work for many. But there exists a potential for issues.

The CX500 should also work for this setup. But it's a budget PSU that's older. You'll probably want to replace this as soon as you can/when prices for PSUs return to the realm of reason. Otherwise what you have picked should be fine.

Everything seems fine but if you're going with that build, you should consider getting a better gpu. Rtx2060 or rx 5600xt. Rx 580 or rx 570 would be good too

Thank you for the replies. Yes I did see the thing about the bios, but the cheapest 570 MB that I can buy is more than twice the price, but if I have to I guess I can return this one and buy a 570. Also the GPU is old I am going to upgrade it another time if I need to.
