I suppose it is possible. In the windows setup, you are able to select custom setup then from there you can choose which drive or partition you want to install windows on.

Run the setup using a disk or usb, and when you come to the point where it asks for Upgrade or Custom, select custom. From there you should be able to select the pre-existing C partition.

Install your OS first without having the hard drive with the data plugged in.

After installing your OS, do proceed to plug in your old hard drive into your system and be sure to select the "160 Gb WESTERN DIGITAL SATA HDD" that you have installed windows as your boot drive.

After booting in, you can use the Windows Disk Manager to configure that existing drive. If the Windows Disk Manager is hard to use, you might want to consider third party software. To name a few, Easeus partition master & MiniTool Partition Free. Both provide free versions.
