Question Old Psu for new nvidia

i have a low psu 450W but i wanna buy the Zotac 3060ti So i need more power, i friend has a old but 750w The model is PC POWER AND COOLING SILENCER 750W QUAD RED U think it would be any problem if i use him psu for the my new Nvidia? thx

How old is the PSU that your friend has? Even if the unit was brand new, you're advised to buy into a reliably built concurrent generation PSU to power your internals/components/build.

That's a 14 year old PSU. Although it was a decent unit back in the days, now it isn't. Hardware changed from a more static load to a much more dynamic load with powerspikes and an old groupregulated unit can't handle that. Also there are some protections missing. No OCP, OTP and UVP.
