Old router as a wifi extender?

I just got my hands on a BT business hub 3, and 25 metres of CAT5 cable.
My wifi is currently comin from a BT Homehub 3, but I want to extend the signal to other areas of my house.
My plan is to wire the homehub and business hub together with my ethernet cable, so that it extends my wifi signal when placed in another area of the house.

Can this be done, and if so, do I need to set stuff up or will the business hub automatically detect that it is connected to my router? If I need to set particular things up to do this, can you give me some details on what I need to do?

If you want to use the BT Business Hub to extend your wifi, you'll need to set it up as an access point. This requires you to connect an Ethernet cable from the first router to a numbered LAN (yellow) port on the Business Hub, and set LAN DHCP to OFF. You'll also need to set up an SSID (wifi name), wireless password and security settings.
