Question Old speakers to Samsung smart TV

Hello. I am trying to connect either my Bose companion 2 sereis 2 or my CRX-040 yamaha sound system to my qe43q60 samsung smart tv. I have https://www.av-cables.dk/coaxial-di...isk-digital-til-analog-phono-ticonverter.html analog to digital converter. When i connect it all, and set my tv to output through analog all i get is a low heartbeat sound and some static coming out of the speaker. It is the case for both of the speakers. Can anyone help me with this?

From the adapter i run either 3.5 jack to 3.5 jack on the yamaha system (to the input call portable) or 3.5 jack to RCA for the bose speakers.

Can anyone help me with this?

How are you connecting adapter to TV ?
Are you using a toslink cable?
Then TV sound output has to be switched to optical audio out.

BTW - that is digital to analog converter (not analog to digital). Direction of conversion is important.
