Hi everyone

Recently decided to upgrade my old Office PC as it was beginning to show its age. It was a originally a windows 7 off the shelf computer from PC world. I have upgraded the RAM & old HDD to a SSD down the years and made the change to Windows 10 as well. It was beginning to struggle to run a label printing software recently so decided to completely replace it for a new build. I opted for a Intel 4 Core i3 10100 build. Its main use is for a Label printing software which is a pain in the ass to re install as it around 7 different picture and txt databases installed for the software. I was hoping to just pop the old SSD out from the old PC and put it straight in the new one. The new PC wont let me boot from the SSD but it does show in the BIOS. Any suggestions on why its not working.
The motherboard is: Gigabyte Intel B460 DV2 Micro-ATX and is running 2x4GB Corsair DDR4 2666mhz RAM

Thank you,

Solution
Moving a drive+OS from one machine to another often fails to boot up.
And fails completely.

From an off the shelf prebuilt, even more so.

Time for a full reinstall.
