Hi guys, I want a powerful GPU for rendering and stuff, but I can't decide between a used Titan X Pascal and a new GTX 1070 which come in about the same price tag, please help me.

Solution
I found a great deal on 32GB of 3200MHz high frequency Trident Z RAM which is some of the best you can get for an absolute bargain, it'll help tremendously with your application. :)
Get this, all from Amazon.

For rendring you firstly need a fast cpu.

The titan x pascal is way faster than the gtx 1070. If you find them in the same price then choose the titan xp without a doubt. But i dont think you can find the titan x pascal at the price range of a gtx 1070

Ok, thank guys, I don't think i will do intese gaming so for me the work come first, even so, is $350 a good deal for a Maxwell GPU? as a CPU I think the 1700 will do a great job

Get the Maxwell, it will do the job much better than the 1070 for rendering, I cannot emphasize this enough.
@konius, it is more dependent on the quantity of CUDA cores available to work with rather than speed and gaming performance, that does not translate directly into rendering.
@OP, the Ryzen 1700 will be a great fit.
What's your budget in Euros?
I'll make a list for you.

350 is not a bad deal. But you should ensure that this used card works fine. If yes go for it

1100,1200 max
