Old with new ram

Sorry if my english is not the best. So im upgrading my pc, i have 2x4gb ddr3 ram and was thinking of getting two sticks more of the exact same ram. However my original set i bought 3 years ago, will this be a problem?
The exact ram im buying is hyperx fury ddr3 1600mhz.

It's not about what you are buying now but what your old RAM is. It has to be as close as possible (best to be exactly same) to have a chance to work properly, even than, no guarantees.

i am buying exactly the same ram. im just wondering if the 3 year gap will make a diffrence.
