[SOLVED] old xfx 850 watt psu

I have all the cables except the one that goes to the motherboard. I want to use this psu as a hard drive storage psu but how can I start it up?

Use a paperclip to bridge the psu on pins. Im assuming this is a modular psu and you lost the cable. Search google for "psu paperclip test" this will turn the psu on.
