Older flagship GPU for new PC ?

Hi I'm building a new PC this Summer do you think I should get a new midrange GPU say the Rx 480 or buy an older flagship like the r9 fury x ?
For gaming at 1080p .

Well, Fury X is more powerful than an RX 480, but it also costs a fair bit more. For 1080p/60fps a 480 is all you need anyway.

With your build being in the summer I would wait until then as there will be new card launches.
