im using a 48 inch model and i generally leave my pc on alll day n at night shut it off i was wondering if, any one wud know or has had ne experence with them, its better to just leave them one and let it auto dim its self when im not using it or shut the screen off n turn it back on everytime, i dont use max brightness n some of the safety features are turned on.

While I'm sure leaving the monitor on a lower brightness won't be that much of a problem, I don't really see a point if you're not using the monitor. Have the computer either go to sleep or turn off the display after some time.
Thas really not an ooption cuz i leave stuff running all day so i dont think the computer wud let itself shut the screen off n its nice to come back to having atleast one screen on with my chat window n other stuff there...

Then tell it to turn off the screen after some time of inactivity. But if you insist on having it on at all times, then you have to lower the brightness if you don't want it to develop noticeable burn-in after a couple of years.

the problem is, is im not sure whats worse for it constantly turning it offf n on or just having itself run at a dimmed state... its an expensive unit n i dont wanna half to replace it in the forseeable furture
