After 9 months of camping out in the city center of London at least we managed to get tents on the list of banned/arrestable goods.

Remember kids, tents kill!

[citation][nom]ewood[/nom]the olympic committee needs to be put back in its place. sounds like a bunch of old people are making rules because they dont understand technology and are therefor scared of it...[/citation]
nah man it has to do with exclusive broadcast licensing terms with major network stations. same reason you can't upload videos of NFL (national football league) & MBL (major league baseball) in the states among the various sporting events.
that's what is now the MPAA at work.

forgot to add i don't know how any network can own the rights to your personage and experience of said events and the rights to all participants to broadcast their image which i am sure is protected with what ever intellectual/personal property rights from what ever country they are from.
but this is part of how the OIC generates revenue to staff officials and judges and equipment taxes, lic.s and fees and labor costs to put on this event, so i don't complain.

" won't be allowed to carry liquids, aerosols, or gels in quantities greater than 100ml "
I'm a type 1 diabetic so I am SO glad my insulin bottles are only 10ml in size. I hope they aren't stupid and try to take away people's needles they use to inject that insulin. I won't personally be there but there are a lot of diabetics that will...
I'd also feel sorry for diabetics who wear insulin pumps because some pumps hold more than 100ml.

That is what happens when you put technology morons at the helm. Next thing we might read is how they are requesting that all phone be iCrap phones.

Seems like censorship at it's finest to me. Despite popular belief, the UK is actually much less censor us then the United States. Maybe if we have the games in the US again at some point in the future then this won't be the case.
