I went the same route after 2 olys. I had the slide door break on one.. a 10
cent plastic part.. repair cost? $160! Also, my wife scratched the pic
viewer on the older 450-zoom (bad design).. repair cost? $250!
Much as I *love* oly, I just don't want to deal with thier customer service
anymore. My 450-zoom was in for repair once.. hey promised 2 week
turnaround.. and 6 weeks later, they STILL hadn't even opened it up for
repair! (and I totally misssed out on Vacation pics that year because of
that!)
