I want to buy a digital camera with a long zoom lens
I've narrowed it down to these two.
The Panasonic gets points for its 12X stabilized lens
The Olympus gets points for its smaller size and weight

Anyone got any comments or suggestions for one or the other of these two
cameras?

Thanx,
John

I've owned both an Olympus 10X and FZ10. The FZ10 takes much better picture
in terms of color and sharpness. The stabilizer is great when using a zoom
greater the 6-7X. You have to use a tripod for the Olympus.

The C-700 Series all have design flaws in the power circuitry. All take
extremely good photos and are easy to use, both in automatic mode or manual,
but expect to have to send it in after a year or so when the "battery dead"
warning comes on.

Yours might have a dea battery warning. Mine certainly doesn't. I'm very
happy with C750. It has worked flawlessly, never a hint of a problem.

How old is the camera? My C700 was fine until about 2 years old.
