Olympus C-750 ultra Zoom and printing on 6x4 photo paper

I am having a annoying problem which is that the pictures taken by my
Olympus C-750 ultra Zoom
don't seem to fit 6x4 photo paper (non perforated version) without leaving
borders ether side. One would of thought
that the dimensions of the image would easy match 6x4 photo paper. I don't
wish to resize and distort or crop the picture!

I am using a Olympus C-750 ultra Zoom, jasc Paint shop pro 8 and a Epson
r800

any ideas?

the images taken by the 750 are not 6x4 ratio they are 2288x1712

some cropping would be needed in order to get borderless prints on 6x4
paper.

Pics from digital cameras doesn't use photo ratio, but computer one(4:3). IF
you want them to fit into 4x6, you must shoot in 3:2 mode. In Olympus
cameras it's possible to set 3:2 mode (where you set resolution).
Or crop them in PSP...
