Let me know if they improve performance. If they dont, then my 3.4 omegas will do me until I upgrade 😛 BTW ape you checked my sig lately ? New high score close to stock speeds on 9700 too 😛

if they make image quality noticably better, then i think a little drop in perfomrnace is acceptable

unless you only care about 3dmarks.

BUT, for me i got both. better image quality and 800 more points in 3dmark01. i would have settled for a loss in points nontheless

Omegadrive may have released them, but driver heaven dosnt have them up yet!

The newest driver heaven has is the 3.5s!! Theres a delay. Lame!

WS, you could get them directly from OmegaDrive's other sites, all you had to do was click on their ATI link and pick someone else. I usually stay away from the DH due to it's high traffic. I got them before I posted here, but couldn't put them on my comp. cause I was at work. I still haven't installed them yet, but HEY, I've been sleeping all day after a job/promotion interview this morning, and I have two days off work so I'll likely do it later today.

I'm doing a little drinking and movie watching tonight with the GF. So not time, now.

I'll let you all know when I do install, I'll run a few benchies. And tell you what's added/missing (if it's still missing)

Usually better IQ, and more game specific tweaks. Omegas aren't about benchmark scores, they are about good performance in games, and making everything look good. You may see additional reflection or smoke effects that are tweaked for a specific game.

Because, I'm currently using the Official ATI Cat 3.6 and I don't play that much (mostly WC3 and HL-CS).

Hope that helps a bit. Not TOO much difference but interestingly a drop in 01, and an increase in '03 (biggest changes in Nature and A slight increase in 'Wings') Wonder if the '03 cheats were left (if that's possible) since that's what seemed to have gone down in the recent driver additions.

I'll post other stuff later on.
