That is awesome! He sounds like a good friend. From what you have said it sounds like you do not have a lot of money to spend in return gifts. I think this friend of yours knows this and probably would not expect anything in return, except friendship.He apparently considers you a great friend and I would continue to be that great friend. Maybe there is something else he needs, possibly some understanding on your part. I do not know yours or your friends situation so I can't really elaborate. At the very least have go have a beer (or whatever) with him and just talk about things and how everyone wishes they had a friend like him.....
