On my laptop, (toshiba sattelite C55t-C5300) for whatever reason, my old hard drive failed (model number: MQ01ABD100), and I ordered a new hard drive (model number: MQ04ABF100), and i'm unsure if the drive is compatible with my laptop, and I'm unsure how to insert the drive without covering the "breathing hole".Can anyone familliar with these models assist me? If the hard drive I ordered is compatible, how do I insert it? If it isnt, what should I look for when trying to replace the dead one?

(Oh and sorry for posting this question twice, as I rarely ever use forums and accidentally marked the question as solved.)

I determined it was broken because Windows constantly tried to repair it (and it always failed). And yes, I am prepared to fully install everything on the drive.

I determined the old one was bad because the computer kept trying to repair the drive (it kept failing) . And yes, I am prepared to do a full install on the new drive. I'm just wondering how I actually insert the drive into the computer without blocking the breathing hole.
