I recently built a new PC and when I turned it on for the first time there was no sound. I checked to see if the HD Audio connector from my front panel is connected and it was. I have tried to download new drivers for the onboard audio and nothing, I have also tried to use Microsoft's generic audio driver and also nothing. Lastly, I tried to uninstall the driver in device manager and reboot and also nothing. I do have speakers that I am using now but it clutters my desk.
Some PC Specs if needed:
CPU: i5-3470
GPU: RX 460
Motherboard: Asus P8H61-LE/CSM (first version) - it is using an ALC 887 audio codec
Case: Cooler Master Masterbox Lite 3.1
Also I checked the sounds and it shows the Realtek Digital Output making noise but I don't hear anything.
Please leave any solutions to this problem.
