My mouse stops or even goes the other direction on fast movements with my mouse, when I move it slowly it works fine and all the buttons work. If I'm playing a game and I move my mouse across my desk it will spin the camera a bunch of times but if I cross the desk really fast it won't even do a 180. I've disabled, uninstalled and updated the driver. I've tried a different mouse, ticked the enhance pointer precision off, downloaded MarkC's acceleration fix, messed with the pointer speed and shadows, disabled realtek audio manager, reinstalled windows, tried all the usb ports.
