On/Off switch for Network Adapter

I have an NE56R41u laptop and was told to switch on the network adapter located on the front or side of the laptop. Don't have a button how do I turn on the adapter?

Looks like its hold down the Fn key and then press F2 to turn it on & off.

Nothing happened, just gave me the opportunity to Rename the network. Anything else I might try?
