So I need a power supply for my computer, I'd like some suggested brands to go with (I've heard Seasonic are good) and maybe even some certain lines (Such as Corsair's RM series), I'd also some suggested brands to stay away from and if and when it's better to get higher-efficiency power supplies (I've heard bronze is rather low and plat is overkill).
I'd greatly prefer if you post REASONS to your views and maybe some citation.
I'd also like to know what wattage bracket you'd put my build udner (I've heard suggestions from about 600W to 1000W) so here's my build:
I've got an AMD FX-8350 (not overclocked), a Sapphire R9 270 DUAL-X
(also, not overclocked), 2x4GB of DDR3 RAM (not overclocked either, got the idea?) and two hard drives (7200 RPM, SATA)this is all running on an standard ATX board.
P.S. I don't want to go with any that's aren't modular due to cable management and airflow issues, however, I'm not fussed between full and semi modularity.
