on train, Milwaukee to Minneapolis

I hope to be taking a trip by train from Milwaukee to Minneapolis and back
next month. What will my VZW coverage be like?

(If you don't know, the route goes through Wisconsin Dells to La Crosse,
then up the west bank of the Mississippi to Minneapolis.)

The various maps on the web site, and the past comments of some here, lead
to a little bit of trepidation...

I live in the Madison area, and have been around Milwaukee through the
Dells without any problems at all, not sure once you get past the Dells
though, as I haven't had my phone long enough to have tried it out up
there. I wouldn't think you'd have any problems though.

I have driven from Milwaukee up to Minneapolis via I-94 and have not had any
problems at all. I am assuming that the train will follow relatively
closely to 94 for most of the way to La Crosse. I have also driven from
Minneapolis to La Crosse going through Rochester, MN if I remember correctly
and had not problems there either. So I wouldn't think you should have any
problems.

Okay, thanks.

Actually, the train goes directly from Milwaukee to Portage, bypassing
Madison, but from there it pretty much follows 90 to La Crosse. Then it
goes straight up the west bank through Winona and Red Wing.
