Hello, I recently bought second SSD - drive Samsung EVO 860 500 GB as a storage, where I am going to install my games.
My operating system drive is Samsung 850 Pro 256 GB. In Samsung magician I can have only 1 drive with RAPID mode turned on.
Which drive shall I choose to turn RAPID mode on, my system or my gaming drive? I am concerned mostly about my gaming performance (Waiting for WOW Classic launch lol).
My system specs are:
Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
Mainboard: ASUS ROG Hero VI
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz (8 CPUs), ~3.6GHz
Memory: 16384MB RAM
Card name: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970
Thank you in advance!

If you really want to use it, I would use the RAPID mode on the OS SSD. Gaming storage responsiveness is far less important than OS IMO.

In all honesty though, I don't use it as it really makes little actual difference -- all it speeds up is a small portion of files read to DRAM before going to NAND and it can result in corrupt data if your machine is shutdown quickly (like power loss or hard lock) before the data is moved to NAND.
