Onboard Audio Not Working After Power Outage!

Soo i was away for a couple days and we had someone at the house watching over, he said after we got back that there had been a power outage and i should check my PC (pc was off but plugged into the wall). So i went in and turned it on, and i come up to a black screen that says "reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device" so i went into my BIOS and configured that (fixed now), but when i got on i had to reconfigure the time and i had noticed there was no Audio when i plugged my headphones in (i tried my headphones that use USB and i tried earbuds, none were successful.)

so i ask a friend and he said that i probably fried my onboard sound but i should try to reinstall the drivers first, so i did that, i tried to install the Realtek driver for my motherboard (listed below) with no avail. I also went into the BIOS and made sure the HD Audio Azalia Device was enabled. (it was disabled and i enabled it) there was also a few other things that were disabled in the BIOS that i enabled but some are still disabled because i dont want to mess anything up.

Thank you, if you can help me please, i dont want to go waste money on something i can find out here.

Will they work just as well as a PCI card? cuz im looking at some PCI soundcards rn and theyre not too bad, i found a couple for about $20-$30, since my PCIe slot is taken up im just looking for the normal ones, so if you can shoot me a link with one that you could recommend thatll help alot.
