[SOLVED] Onboard audio vs Headset's sound card

Hello, I am very confused on what is better for my gaming experience. I have an Msi X470 Gaming Pro Carbon which has a Realtek Alc 1220, which is advertised as a decent and good onboard audio chip. My question is if I should buy a gaming usb headset with its own sound card like the Kraken Tournament Edition, HyperX Cloud Alpha S or if I should get a headset with 3.5 (analog) which will use mobo's sound. Are headset's sound cards that good? Is alc 1220 better? What should I buy (usb or 3.5 headset)??? Please help me. Thanks in advance...

I use my motherboard's analog audio output to drive my headphones. They produce decent enough sound, albeit, a bit soft.

Yeah, but in my occasion, what is better? Is for example Razer Kraken's Tournament Edition sound card better than Realtek Alc 1220? Should I get such a headset with usb like kraken or cloud alpha?
