Onboard ethernet port dead?

so following this topic http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-3283525/valid.html , i've test everything , winstock , netsh , ipconfig , formatting , change wired , etc this mean the ethernet port on my asus V formula just die ?
is there any way to not buy another mobo is there any way to have a network adapter ? if so which one ?

my curret spec are
OS : Win 7 64bits.
Mobo : Asus Maximus V Formula Lga 1155
expasion slots :
1 x PCIe 2.0 x 4 slot
3 x PCIe 2.0 x 1 slots
my actual lan port is Intel Gigabit 82579V.
16gb ram dual channel 2/4
970 strix graphic card.
years on use : 4 24/7
 
First of all, make certain that your Ethernet cable is securely plugged into the socket.
They need to be inserted fully.
You should see a blinking yellow or green led flashing to indicate activity.

Look in device manager properties for the adapter to see if it is working.
Possibly the driver is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.

Test that your router is ok if you can. Connect another Ethernet device if you can.

In the event that you decide that your motherboard adapter is bad, then you can buy an add in pcie card like this:

this will work too ? tp link network adapter tg-3269 ? sorry this is the closest one i have and in my city aswell lol , thx for the answer.
@geofelt , i've test everything , when i connect it to the lan port i see that color blinking.
