Onboard LAN or Intel pro 10/100/1000?

I'm purchasing a pc from Ibuypower. For Internet they have 2 options
-Onboard LAN
-Intel pro 10/100/1000 network card
My family has a Netgear router that we've had for quite some time. We don't have any more Ethernet outlets so I'll need to connect the PC to wifi. I don't know which of these options can do that, I've tried to look it up but I came up with very little.

You need to get a wifi adapter. Either as an expansion card or a usb wifi adapter.
Intel pro 10/100/1000 network card is just another ethernet port.

The onboard LAN is fine - you can pickup a $20 10/100/1000 network switch at almost any computer retailer and unplug one PC from the router, and plug it into the switch. Then add you computer to the switch. This will give you a better connection. Here is an example:
