My onboard graphics card was working fine. I was able to install Windows 8.1 Enterprise and boot every single time. I was ready to put in my graphics card and start gaming. :) However, when I but in the graphics card, no display came to my monitor. I took out the graphics card to test the problem, and onboard still worked and booted. I looked up the remedy to this problem, and saw somebody say to take out the CPU and reseat it. I thought this improbable, but if it works for him, maybe it will work for me, right? Now, neither the onboard or the video will allow my monitor to turn on. All fans spin, all lights on, just no display. Please help before I tear my hair out. This is my system....
CPU:FX-6300
GPU:GTX 760
PSU:EVGA 500W
RAM: G SKILL RIPJAWS 8GB
MOBO: asus m5a78l-m/usb3

PLEASE HELP BEFORE I TEAR ALL MY HAIR OUT! IT HAS BEEN ONE PROBLEM AFTER ANOTHER FOR THIS FIRST TIME BUILDER!!!!

First things first.
Remove the CPU. And make sure nothing is damaged. And seat it correctly. Make sure the Chip is latched. Do you hear any beeping sounds when you turn on the PC ?
Then make sure the onboard works. If it doesn't then check youtube for "How to put a CPU on a motherboard " guide
Make sure all screws are fastened (heatsink).
As for the GPU try updating the BIOS and check the wiring . Maybe obvious but when you fit the GPU the VGA/HDMI/DVI cable has to go from the GPU to the monitor (just putting it there although its very obvious.

I did that and nothing different happened. Is there anything you would like me to take pictures of, like my motherboard or peripherals or anythigng?

I hope that you don't take this wrong.... not anyone should attempt to build a computer. If you don't know what you are doing then let someone else build it.
No way in hell could the CPU have been the problem. You should know that. The problem was either you didn't move the cable to the video card from the motherboard or more likely you did not F2 into the bios setting changing from on board graphics to pci-e graphics.
Always follow Occam's razor-the easiest solution is almost always the correct solution. removing the CPU was not the "easiest solution"
Forget about video card for now. You need to get it back to how it was before you removed the CPU and then go from there. Hopefully you know how to properly align the CPU in the socket.

First of all, I know my CPU is aligned correctly. I moved the vga cable from my MOBO and used an adapter to DVI for my GPU. I also know that my CPU is fine, i just said that so you know exactly what happened. Also, I can go into BIOS settings considering my PC won't boot anymore.
